The venue is located at the vibrant hub for innovation and entrepreneurship on KTH’s main campus.

By Metro:

  • Take the red line to Tekniska högskolan station. Exit the station via the “KTH” exit, then follow Drottning Kristinas väg uphill ~100 m. Continue on Osquars Backe, passing the KTH Library on your left. After a small tree-lined area, you’ll see Teknikringen 1's glass façade directly ahead.

By Train or Bus:

  • Closest commuter train station: Stockholm Östra (~4 min walk). Bus stops: Östra Station and Tekniska högskolan T‑Bana (~4–5 min walk). Bus lines serving the area: e.g. 4, 6, 67, 670, 676.

Pietro Barabaschi
Director-General - ITER Organisation

Pietro Barabaschi has been Director General of the ITER Organisation since 2022, leading reforms and construction of the ITER project. Previously, he headed an R&D Department at Fusion-for-Energy (F4E), overseeing European contributions to ITER and the Broader Approach projects with Japan—JT60SA, IFMIF/EVEDA, and IFERC. He also served twice as Interim Director of F4E, managing operations and reforms. Before F4E, he was Deputy Project Leader and Design Integration head for the ITER International Team. Early in his career, he worked on the JET Project in the UK. His work has focused on advancing nuclear fusion through major research infrastructure projects.
